Nancy Chaikin Art Advisory was founded in 2002 to provide expertise and guide private clients through the process of building a distinct and dynamic art collection by acquiring significant works of modern and contemporary art.

Ms. Chaikin has over 22 years experience and provides comprehensive collection management services while fostering connoisseurship, museum patronage and involvement in the arts community.  Nancy Chaikin Art Advisory and management services include; defining goals by determining the identity of the collection, long-range planning, education, acquisition, installation, site specific commissions, conservation, facilitating museum loans and long term estate planning. 

Over the past two decades, Ms. Chaikin has built a rich network of international art world professionals including museum curators, gallerists, artists, art advisors, private dealers, architects, designers and collectors. Ms. Chaikin travels extensively to attend museum retrospectives, biennials, auctions, art fairs and she has visited some of the most prestigious private and corporate art collections in the United States and abroad.  Ms. Chaikin is an expert in art market analysis and knowledge of current market conditions.

Prior to forming her own company Ms. Chaikin worked as a Senior Associate with Art Collections Management in New York and as a Curatorial Associate at Viart Corporation in New York City, an advisory firm that oversaw the acquisition and maintenance for collections including Goldman Sachs & Co, The Capitol Group, The J. Paul Getty Trust, Merrill Lynch & Co., Sullivan & Cromwell and TIAA/CREF and others.

Ms. Chaikin holds a Masters degree in Fine Art from Hunter College, New York and a Bachelors degree in Fine Art from the School of Visual of Arts in New York. 

Nancy has also studied Art History at the University of Florence in Italy and European history at the University of Vienna in Austria.
